The license

Ply3D is used with an account. Editing, saving and exporting need an active subscription or an education license; without one the app goes read-only and your files stay yours.

The subscription starts with a free 14-day trial with every feature. You add a payment method to start it, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before, nothing is charged.

Each account can be used on up to 2 Macs at a time. The license is personal: it can't be shared or resold.

Subscription and payments

Subscriptions are monthly or yearly and renew automatically until you cancel. Lemon Squeezy sells the subscription as the reseller (Merchant of Record): it charges you, issues the invoice, applies taxes and handles refunds under its policy. If you cancel, you keep using Ply3D until the end of the paid period.

Refunds: if you forgot to cancel the trial, we refund the first charge if you ask within 7 days of it, by writing to . Otherwise payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel any time and keep using Ply3D until the end of the paid period. This doesn't limit any rights the law of your country gives you.

Education license

It's free for students and teachers, for non-commercial use only, lasts one year and can be renewed. We approve it by hand and may decline it if it can't be verified.

Your designs

What you design with Ply3D is yours. Always check the dimensions, tolerances and strength of a part before using it: Ply3D doesn't guarantee that a printed part is fit for any particular use, especially if it carries loads or affects people's safety.

AI assistants

Connecting AI assistants is local and optional. The assistant you connect runs on your own account and follows its provider's terms. Check what the assistant builds before you print it.

Liability

Ply3D is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

Changes

If we change these terms, we publish the new version here with its date. We announce significant changes by email.
